The Immortals are less a faction and more a loose conglomerate of individuals whose jobs involve maintaining the general order of magic and/or the cosmos. As one can guess, they are immune to all natural forms of death; they may still perish, however, and it is possible to strip them of their immortality as well.

• Death: The current Grim Reaper is a female by the name of Grath Nevanda. Her job is to see to it that lost, trapped, or unruly souls find their way to the appropriate god(s) and assists the judicial process. She has been serving for a little over a quarter of a millennium.Also a single mother of one child, Emilia Venezia.
• Fate: The current Weaver of Destinies is a female by the name of Sophia Petrovya. It is her place to guide mortal souls NOT to any one final destination, but to assure that they are placed in scenarios wherein they shall make critical decisions about their own lives. She does NOT dictate nor determine the future, contrary to popular belief. She has been serving for over three-quarters of a millennium, and it shows.
• Time: The current Watchman of the Cosmos is a male by the name of Xabbu. He sees to the recording of all the Universe's history as well as making minor adjustments to the flow of Time whenever the other Immortals need a little more to keep pace with their work (Death is particularly notorious for requiring more Time). He is currently setting the record for longevity as an Immortal with a little more than 2100 years under his belt.
