Hana is a friend of Miyuki and Hisoka. She is the shyest of the three, and always wants to be around at least one of them. She greatly admires Hisoka's Intellect and Miyuki's confidence. Hana is also the shortest of the trio. She wears glasses and keeps her bangs long, apparently in an attempt to hide her face from the world.

Hana is the oldest, but only by several months. at her home, she is the youngest child and often ignored, so she has very little self esteem aside from that which her two best friends give her.
