Raiko is a high-school freshman in class 1-C, and one of the more odd students. She is 16 ¹⁾, and looks rather unremarkable, but claims to be the daughter of a Shrinekeeper, and insists upon being referred to as 'Rai-Hime' by those whom she considers friends. She is rather inquisitive, but is very tactful about it, and will wait for opportune moments in which to 'strike' asking questions slowly rather than all at once to get more correct, thought-out answers. Generally helpful, she has a few odd mannerisms that would normally set her apart but those in the Academy are so diverse that it really just makes her one of the more normal people around.

Aside from an unnaturally high level of perception, Raiko does not seem to have any magical abilities, though whether or not she can use magic is up for debate.
