+    * Tinkering: Wil is very technologically oriented, and has been since a very young age. As a result, he is able to mentally break down machines to their core parts. Given the opportunity, he would gladly dismantle most anything he can get his hands on to see how close his mental schematic compares to the actual design.
+**History:** Wilhelm was born to a family of second generation immigrants originally from Germany who moved to Michigan to work in one of the state’s many factories. Young Wil was fascinated by the process of fabricating machines, and began to read various manuals so he could learn more about how machines functioned.\\
+When Wil turned 7, his family decided to move back home to Germany, and while his environment was different he was still set on learning more about everything having to do with machines. This led him to do a lot of snooping and digging into various other methods of crafting machinery. One day he caught word of a very different means of building after reading a forum post about somebody seeing a weapon that functioned unlike any weapon he had ever heard of.  There was virtually no other information on the topic, but Wil practically became obsessed with the notion of magic based technology, or rather Magitech. He would practically shut himself away in his room as he sketched and tried to conceive such a device.\\
+Around the time when Wil was 10, he finally had another lead on magitech. Specifically, he had pried enough to learn a rumor about a magitech craftsman located about an hour outside of Berlin. When an opportunity came he jumped on it. While on break away from school, Wil and his father took a trip to Berlin for the weekend, and after getting some free time Wil said he was going to look around the city and that he’d be back before evening. Boarding the next train, Wil clutched his book bag that held his drawings and felt very excited. Upon reaching his destination, the young boy wandered around with his rough map until he found the place he was looking for. After entering the small shop, Wil walked up to the clerk and said, “You guys can make this right? Batons that fire magic bullets.” Wil was promptly laughed out of the store and felt very mortified. Practically on the verge of tears he made his way back to the train station.\\
+While his imagination continued to wonder about magitech, he had more or less accepted the idea as little more than another internet hoax. A little less than a year later a man visited his school and requested to meet with Wil in regards to his schooling. The man had heard about Wil’s investigations into magitech and simply asked Wil, “What would you do if these magic weapons were real?” to which Wil responded, “I wanna make them.” With a smile on his face the man proceeded to discuss the notion a while longer before sending Wil on his way while he continued to review Wil’s transcript.\\
+Upon turning 11, Wil received an invitation to attend Brocken Academy where he would be able to focus on “Mechanical Engineering.” Once he arrived at Brocken Academy, the young boy was thrust into a world he had only heard rumors of, and those rumors only scratched the surface. His mind was set, however, and the rest of this magical world could wait until he had satisfied his primary curiosity.\\

+**Appearance:** Wilhelm has a medium frame as he stands at just about 5’9”, and tops off at 152lbs. He has decent musculature from working on various pieces of machinery, and his slight farmer’s tan is a result of welding and smithing projects in a shop as opposed to actually spending time outside. He has medium length light brown hair that caps his angular face, his eyes are a pleasant shade of dark blue, and his nose has a slight arch in it near the bridge. His chin bears a slight cleft, but this is generally hidden by slight stubble that he often forgets to shave.\\
+**Personality:** Wil has a warm personality and is for the most part an enjoyable man to be around, at least when he is not preoccupied with a project. When he is working he will still make an attempt at socializing, but this is mostly limited to monotonous responses. He can also be seen as given since he will gladly work on the magitech of friends and acquaintances, but really this falls in with his love for machines.\\
