 +===== About =====
 +
 +
 +**Primary Ability:** What's In A Name?
 +  * Skarnir has seemingly been around for ages, but in truth Skarnir is more of a title than a name. When one passes for some reason or another, the mantle is given to someone else so that the legend lives on and continues to grow. Those that take up the name dedicate themselves to the legend; Skarnir's achievements become their achievements, just as what they achieve become the achievements of the next ones down the line.
 +
 +**Secondary Ability:** Dreadnought
 +  * Through physical conditioning, Skarnir possesses considerable strength and a mighty constitution.
 +
 +
 +**History:**
 +
 +Skarnir remains aloof about his personal history. While he is very open about telling bold and exciting tales of daring deeds that Skarnir has done, it always feels as though he's talking about somebody else even while speaking in the first person. The main story he likes to tell was how he traveled from a distant realm to help a group of adventurers slay a vengeful dragon god as //practice//, and that he has been personally responsible for the deaths of no less than fifteen mature dragons. In his travels he's lead armies and revolutions, toppled tyrants, and even won the heart of an ancient religion's matriarch.\\
 +
 +When asked about recent event's in his life, Skarnir merely alludes to having crossed paths with [[OM:character:Ruarc Flynn]] at some point. Further digging through outside sources would reveal a track record as a mercenary dating back years, scattered reports dating back decades, and popping up a couple times in old texts dating back centuries.\\

 +===== Inventory =====
 +Adamantine Scale Mail - the gleaming scales of the armor are incredibly strong and able to withstand all manner of attack. Each scale bears an engraving depicting various events. No matter how grievous a strike may seem, Skarnir never appears terribly injured. When in full battle regalia the scale mail is bolstered by plate gauntlets, pauldrons, a gorget, and greaves.\\
 +
 +Giant's Bane - Skarnir's greataxe has been passed down through the ages, and said to have been used to defend Asgard itself; but for the most part appears to be just a greataxe\\
 +
 +Belt of the Fire Giant - When worn, grants Skarnir the strength of the mythical fire giants of Muspelheim\\
 +
 +Ring of Feather Fall - No matter how far Skarnir falls, it is never fast enough to cause him harm\\
 +
 +Ring of Ramming - One of Skarnir's few ranged abilities, the Ring can emit a blast of force a limited number of times per day\\
 +
 +Ring of Winter - A golden ring that Skarnir always wears, but typically keeps covered by gloves. He never speaks of it or acknowledges it\\
 +
 +Amulet of the Drunkard - Skarnir is able to heal himself to a moderate degree once a day by imbibing alcohol\\
 +
 +Tankard of Plenty - Speaking the command word while grasping the handle fills the tankard with three pints of rich brown ale.\\
 +
 +Pipe of Remembrance - This long, delicate wooden pipe features a bowl made from smooth river stone. When the pipe is lit, smoke exhaled from it does not dissipate, instead lingering around the bearer. After 10 minutes, the smoke forms moving shapes that reenact the bearer’s most impressive and heroic achievements for 5 minutes. When this realistic performance is complete, the smoke dissipates.\\
