 +Miyuki is a gifted person- as the [[om:magic:ice_lord|Ice Queen]], She inherently has the ability to create and control water and ice, though mostly ice. This power has been passed down through her bloodline for several millennia, however it has been known to skip generations and manifest at random, with many completely unaware of the magical bloodline. As the Ice Queen, Miyuki has access to an absolutely massive amount of mana, and can even draw the mana from the very weather, or push out her own mana to affect the weather on a massive scale.

 +   * Frost: Targets an enemy using the Sapphire, covering them in water, then freezing that water solid. Temporarily immobilizes the enemy.

 +**How powers were granted:**

 +Miyuki found the Babylon sapphire in the middle of a park, after being drawn to it by the gemstone glowing. When she touched the gemstone, she activated it, drawing its guardian beast out. After a test of skill and compatibility, the guardian beast chose to make a contract with Miyuki, granting her the ability to use the Gemstone. Miyuki was able to gather three of the gemstones before her true power was unlocked, which was her bloodline inheritance as the [[om:magic:ice_lord|Ice Queen]].

 +**History in Roleplay:** Miyuki, soon after discovering her powers, found herself in the midst of combat, retrieving a second and third Babylon Gemstone in a very short period of time, as well as somehow finding a group of other mages, whom helped her to fight off a Gashadokuro. After the fight with the giant skeleton monster, Miyuki discovered that most of the individuals whom she had met during the battle went to her school. Within a few weeks, however, trouble reared its ugly head once more in the form of mischief at the school, which then turned into the disappearance of one of the mages. After this, she was involved in a battle against a greater spirit from Ireland, which she and her friends were able to defeat.

 +During this battle, a classmate proved integral in unsealing the girl's true powers, which helped to save the day, but ultimately lead to her collapse before being sealed once more. However, she would soon find herself to have unknowingly had the seal to her power switched out for an item that instead regulated it, allowing the girl to tap into the power without being overwhelmed. In response to the group's admittedly miserable performance in the battle with Caoranach, one of the students, Duncan Leetenbaum, lead them all into a simulated world, forcing them to undergo a crash course of magical training in order to keep them from dying if battles continued to escalate.

 +In December of 2011, [[om:character:Percival Caxton]] was suddenly taken ill, which proved to be of magical causes. After Miyuki and several other classmates were sent to a magical world which had been opened by young Percy, they went through several trials which brought them to find that his spirit had been taken hostage by the trapped spirit of an ancient mage. After a fierce battle, in which Miyuki and her classmates were able to overpower the mage, they were able to free Percy, but circumstances caused the boy to lose his arm.

 +After High School, Miyuki would go on to join the Safeholme Guild, and become an adventurer of sorts, taking on tougher and tougher challenges, unwittingly becoming something akin to a celebrity in the magical community owing to the nature of the tasks she completely, the brutal efficiency she became known for, and the sheer amount of power she developed as her own natural abilities matured.

 +**Appearance:** Miyuki is on the tall side for a Japanese woman, having had a significant growth spurt after high school, finishing her growth at 5’10”. She has a very athletic build, and leans toward muscular, though she is not bulky of build. Miyuki’s almond shape eyes are ice blue and her face typically wears something akin to a confident smirk. Her right arm appears, upon close inspection, to have a very faint line encircling her bicep, that almost looks like a scar, and the skin below it is a shade lighter than the rest of her body.

The Arctic Key boosts Ice type magics to an extreme, and can help extend its range far beyond its wielder’s normal limit. The Arctic Key forms the core of Miyuki’s prosthetic right arm, but can be manifested without causing the arm to disappear or cease function.

 +  * Tactical Magic Gear- Miyuki typically wears a set of Tactical MAgic gear when she operates in the field, or when teaching classes. This gear resembles modern military gear, but has been interwoven with layers of protective enchantments, and features primarily blue and grey colors.

The Babylon Maiden increases the physical strength and durability of its wearer, but this effect changes depending on which Gem is inserted. Miyuki rarely, if ever, wears this outfit anymore.

However, the power of this ability may equal the powers that can occur naturally.
