Currently, most of Drathos is covered by Metropolises, large cities and the like, and is fairly polluted due to the large amount of industrial activity. Like Mars, much of Drathos is a dusty red, even the plant life there is.\\

+**Description**:Durbrillion is a Rim world covered in lush green forests, rolling plains, many large valleys, and deep blue seas. It orbits near its almost-identical sister planet Desrill. Durbrillion itself has no native sentient life. Durbrillion is slightly larger than the planet Terra, and therefore has 25% more gravity than Terra. \\
+**Facts**: Durbrillion in recent years has begun to thrive as more refugees flee for safer space, and as such many large urban centers have sprung up across the surface of the planet. But before Durbrillion became a new safe house for refugees, Durbrillion had long served as the home to one of the Terran Republic's more notable military academies, Prestige Valley Naval Academy. Named for the valley it rests in, the academy is a twenty minute shuttle ride from the nearest town. Due to its remote location, the academy is able to train its students in near privacy, and able to have the lay of the land to train them on. \\

+**Type**: Ice planet, no life. Has low concentrations of Nitrogen but high concentration of oxygen and frozen Helium and Methane under the oceans. The planet may actually be an ice planet in a warm cycle.\\
+**Facts**: Lycus possesses two moons; one is partially destroyed and probably was an asteroid; moon two is a normal moon about the size of Luna, however it is high in rare earth metals.\\

+**Type**: Grassy Moon \\
+**Population**: 100,000 \\
+**Description**: Ovid III is one of four moons which orbit the gas giant Pliny. Despite the indescribably large odds against it, Pliny is the only planet in its binary solar system. Due to an odd set of circumstances Pliny does not orbit either sun, but instead rests within their Lagrangian Point. Pliny sits closer to the sun Antony than it does to the sun Octavian, but Octavian is much larger than Antony and is therefore able to maintain its gravitational hold on Pliny. \\
+Pliny revolves very slowly on its axis, on average one revolution taking 193 Terran years. This results in the side of the planet facing Antony to become several times hotter than the side facing the distant Octavian. This characteristic of the system has an interesting affect on Pliny's moons. The most notable is Ovid III, the only hospitable world in the system. Ovid III revolves around Pliny a little slower than Terra's revolution of its sun and has different concepts of seasons as well as night and day. Ovid's 'summer' months occur when it is on the side of Pliny closest to Antony. During these months, the temperatures on Ovid peak at between 120F and 130F; at night the temperatures top off at around 95F as Ovid continues to receive Antony's energy as it is reflected off of Pliny's atmosphere. \\
+Ovid's winter months are when it has circled around to where it face the distant sun Octavian. During these months the temperatures peak at around 10F during the day and at around 35F at night; this is due to Pliny's atmosphere transferring Antony's energy towards its poles which provides more energy then distant Octavian. \\
+Despite these extreme conditions there are still colonists willing to make a new life there. The soils of Ovid are rich with minerals making them good for growing crops during the temperate spring and fall seasons. This attracted farmers and miners, the other major group of people on Ovid are retired veterans who just want to get away from the mainstream. \\
+Then, after the Drathonian betrayal, a large majority of the moon's population jumped ship and headed for safer space, not wanting to risk staying in a system so close to Drathonian space. The settlers who stayed were mainly the old folks who had been living there their entire lives, they were determined to ride out the storm in their homes convinced that no enemy would bother with such a backwater system that sat near the edge of the galaxy. \\

+==== Saratar ====

+**Description**: \\
+Is approximately the same size as earth, and rotates at approximately the same speed, which at one time made it a candidate to be another earth, but this choice was dropped in favor of planets with surfaces more similar to earth. Saratar was once a large commercial center, due to the enormous orbital drydocks above the planet. On the moderately vegetated surface, several businesses and Universities held their headquarters, and even a large number of Museums were located here. Due to the agreeable weather, it was once the third highest Terran population center. After the great betrayal, every last Terran on the planet was exterminated by the Drathonians, with the exception of a number of high scholars and engineers, who were taken captive to help the Drathonians with their space program. \\

+**Description**:Terra was once one of the most beautiful planets in the milky way galaxy. After thousands of years of harming the ecosystem, Terrans finally found the technology needed and the resources to bring their planet back to a beautiful state. Being the capital of the largest political organization, it was necessary that it be kept well, and so, for nearly 1500 years, it was the Gem of the Milky Way, and the beloved home of Terrans.\\
+**Facts**:In 4033, Drathonians betrayed the Terrans, simultaneously attacking hundreds of Terran controlled planets and colonies; the Terran homeworld, however, received special attention. The first wave was a large scale bombardment of Nuclear warheads, followed by raking attacks from Starship main weapons, scoring deep fissures all over the world, dotting the planet with craters. Finally, the Drathonians focused on Great Britain, blowing it clean off the surface of the earth, blasting a hole nearly to the core, then launching a barrage of Nuclear warheads, blowing The eastern and western hemispheres in twain, and blasting the European subcontinent from the Asian continent. Although blown completely through, the Planet's gravity remained intact, keeping the three pieces floating only a few miles apart. Without a spinning core the gravity is too little to support life.\\
+Currently, no one keeps any sort of military presence nearby, though small groups of survivors are known to stay on planet. Every once in a while, Drathonians come to Terra to deface whatever remaining landmarks there are. \\

+|//The labyrinth of metal walkways and piping, shrouded in a haze of steam, gave way to the natural, yet more gloomy, environment of Turanis. His boots crunched in the gravelly sand, kicking up pebbles as he rushed on. The barren field was open to the sky, and Turanis' black moon, Tenebrae, cast its dull shadow on the ground, which matched it in color. Though Jack by no means had his attention turned to the skies, other memories filled it in with vivid detail. The moons name was quite fitting: rather than illuminate the sky, it seemed to form a void of darkness amongst the field of stars. The shadowy nature of the moon and planet was not an abnormality: the entire system shared the same dismal pallet. The word ‘tenebrific’ was indeed quite a fitting title for the system. Eons before it had been colonized by humans and drathonians, the small star at the center of the system 'died', so-to-speak. Stars not going out quietly, the catastrophic supernova charred the very earth itself. The primitive life that Turanis had been capable of sustaining was vaporized. Even the fifth planet in the system, a gas giant, had so much debris blasted into it that its atmosphere turned black, making the planet look like a coalescing ball of shadow. +==== Saratar Drydocks ====
+**Description**: Saratar station is so large that, upon construction, it actually changed the orbit of Saratar around its star, but, fortunately, in a beneficial way. It stabilized the rapidly decaying orbit of the planet, possibly allowing the planet to live longer than it would have naturally. Saratar Station is 24 miles by 48 miles by ten miles, making it the size of a very large city. Saratar has a capacity of about 2 billion individuals, but is currently only staffed by around 750,000 Terrans, and is mainly kept up via androids and automated systems, which, while capable of keeping the station from falling apart, is not really enough to keep it up, and so the station's interior is in disrepair, but the hangars and ship bays have been kept perfectly. The Base has 218 sectors, including the two enormous hub sectors, and the 216 modules branching off of this structure. Of these modules, 144 have hangar/construction bays for building ships. Each of these has two bays, making for a total of 288 bays. Each bay is two miles wide, and three quarters of a mile high, going one mile deep. Also included on the station are docking arms. There are a total of 264 arms, 288 smaller arms for ships up to Battlecruiser in size class, and 24 for Dreadnought and bulk-freighter type ships to dock. The 288 smaller docks are located between the Bays, and the 24 larger docks are located on the ends of the station's 'arms'.  \\
+**Facts**: Saratar Drydocks, Saratar Station, and Saratar Base are the three most common names for the large orbital shipyards located in orbit over the planet Saratar. Built in A.D. 3457, it is one of the oldest useable structures in the Milky Way galaxy, and was at one point the main shipyards for OUTO, having built somewhere around Half of the starships currently in use in the Milky Way. The station's Avatar, an ASIAN M2 named Sara, is a grumpy, modified unit, which has had parts of its code replaced with Drathonian code, as well as her android body modified to resemble a Drathonian. She is moody, disloyal, and very quirky for a computer, but no threat at all, as Terran engineers are working on fixing her, and have disabled any dangerous additions the lizards made to her during their 14 year controlling of the station. \\

+==== Hamilton Station ====
+**Description**: [[space_stations:Hamiltion_Station|Hamilton Station]], named after the Hamilton Cylinders, is in orbit above Lycus's 2nd moon in Alpha Centauri. It was the Terran's first attempt at a space station beyond the local system. Since its original construction, the station has been piece-mealed in upgrades. Each upgrade had the "newest and best" living conditions of the time thus inviting the upper echelon to move in. Consequently, the majority of the station consists of varying degrees of ghettos and poverty all living in antiquated and sub-standard living conditions. While attempts have been made to improve the oldest parts of the station, all ventures have been canceled due to the gang warfare that takes place in the dilapidated hubs. The security force often consists of the undesirables from the lower levels trying to push their way up to a cushy life.

+==== The Junk Fleet ====
+**Description**: Originplace of the [[species:Kepari|Kepari]] and one of the largest collections of space ships in the known galaxy of working vessels and space hulks. The [[bhotr:nomad_fleet:Junk_Fleet|Junk Fleet]] is the contemporary name for the Exodus Fleet, an ancient entity that launched from the dying days of a fading empire. Once a powerful and feared force in the Old Galaxy, the Junk Fleet is now a jungle of ship wreckage and barely working vessels scavenged from nations throughout the Milky Way. Within the nebula of yarage, there are several groups dividing the Fleet into disparate sections, each with their own small governances and ability to trade. Within these groups are clouds of ancient wreckage with thrumming reactors that power ancient technology, and provide atmosphere for old garden ships that house ecosystems of dangerous fauna and flora.
+The fleet moves from cluster to cluster every few years, using an incredibly powerful warp bubble drive system within the flag ship of the //Yeko Skorzi//.
+The ship-group is home to the [[species:Kepari|Kepari]], a remnant of the fleet's original owners. They are salvagers, hunters, judicious mechanics and incredibly shrewd merchants. Viewed by the rest of the galaxy as scavengers, the Kepari in the Junk Fleet are typically isolated except to receive trade and occasionally service vessels from nations they are on good terms with.
