Tenner City beat.

I'll figure out a description as we go.

Nodding in response to Temperance's commands Crevi crouched down next to the synthetic suspect's body with a pair of reinforced handcuffs hanging from their grip. As the robotic detective ran through their entire sensor suite on the body before them they recorded any information coming off the body and stored a copy locally before pushing it back towards HQ.

"The brain seems undamaged. Should I query command for permission to force a wake-up?"

Temperance rolled the android. While keeping a form grip on one wrist, he snatched the cuffs from Crevi and slapped them on. "If you're compelled," he answered his partner with an indifferent monotone Crevi was accustomed to, if not wholly acclimated.

As they rolled the body, a small electronically shielded bag fell out from the folds of the torn clothing worn by this feminine body; the bag was bulging as if something bulkier than the typical small electronics seen in these types of bags was present. Aside from the dead spot caused by the shielded bag, however, neither the Android nor Temperence's glasses picked up anything unusual about the gynoid they were currently investigating and that the human had cuffed.

Crevi's head smoothly tracked the electronics bag as it rolled away from the disposed body's clothing. The edges of the electronically shielded object fuzzed in and out of focus and the robotic detective cycled through their various sensors and failed to gleam any further knowledge about what was concealed behind the shielded material.

"Logging new evidence: package, approximately four inches by three, high grade shielding with zero percent penetration by passive or active sensors." The timbre of Crevi's voice was odd as they recorded themself - flat and with a slower cadence than found in normal speech. "End log." Looking towards Temperance the junior detective seemed to stiffen and almost bristle for a second before shrugging and relaxing. "If someone wanted us blown up I doubt I'd be speaking right now - want me to go ahead and open it up?"

Temperance gave her a suspicious look. "Tamper with evidence prior to proper forensics?" By his tone, it was a rhetorical question. "Bag it." These sorts of exchanges were common between them: Crevi would make very reasonable suggestions or inquiries and Temperance would find a very reasonable way to say, "Not our problem." It was a trait unique to him in the investigations department that made his colleagues doubt his desire and commitment to the job. Good last partner was quoted saying, "Temp doesn't have the driving curiosity of a great detective."

Seeing as his partner did not seem compelled to force a wake-up command, Temperance scooped up the gynoid and threw her over one shoulder. She was much heavier than he'd anticipated, but nothing a couple augmetic legs couldn't handle. She was laid in the backseat of the car before Temperance secured himself in the driver's seat and waited quietly for his partner to wrap up.

Crevi carefully bagged the already bagged object that had fallen out of the victim's clothing. Taking a quick snap shot of the package the droid uploaded it and the relevant frames of it being uncovered before pending a request under both their and Temperance's IDs to be informed once forensics filed a report.

The detective then handed the evidence off to one of the officers on scene before following their partner to their vehicle. "This was all very carefully done for how sloppy this part of the city operates." As Crevi entered the passenger seat the golden glow of their mouth shifted to a softer, less intense red as they decoupled themselves from the network. "Any commentary on all of it now that I'm off the record?"

As the protocols for dealing with Aelf 'bodies' was different than for organic ones, none of the forensics team or officers seemed to care much that Temperance simply picked the Gynoid up and placed her in the patrol car. However, chance would have it that the lift , heave, and carrying of the unknown Aelf seemed to trigger something. the Detective would neither hear nor feel it, but he had tripped her start-up sequence, and after placing the body in the back seat and sitting down in the front, accompanied immediately by his partner, the Aelf would finish her start-up sequence.

Suddenly, from the back seat, the two detectives would hear the unmistakable sound of a person taking a sudden, deep breath, and then Exhaling it. The previously limp body began to move, and then seemed to stretch, almost like a human waking up from a particularly good nap.

Temp sighed. "What's to say? Just one more-" a creaking of the backseat sparked a tingling in his neck and hands, a fight or flight response at the sudden alarm. They weren't alone. One hand went for his sidearm while he spun to peer into the back.

The sidearm settled back into the holster, and Temperance sat forward again, now watching their passenger via the rearview mirror. When the gynoid seemed settled, he asked, "Have a nice nap, Miss Smith?" He was of course alluding to the fact that she was just another nameless victim they'd picked up in a gutter somewhere. Too much of that these last few years, he mused silently.

"Do not feel the need to answer my partner's quip miss. It is not currently a logged professional inquiry." Crevi kept their attention to the roofs around their vehicle while Temperance was focused on the suddenly occupied body in the back seat. "You may find yourself experiencing some level of trauma and as we are not assigned to handling such a public facing task I must suggest you take sufficient time to ground yourself before responding."

Even as they spoke Crevi was sending different messages to their partner's HUD.

Skyline is remaining clear. What's your gauge on our reinvigorated victim? I doubt this is a case of innocent in the wrong alley.

The unidentified gynoid seemed to settle in her seat, straightening up now that she had restored motive control, rather than simply laying limply as she had been deposited. When spoken to, her head turned, though her eyes had yet to open. When a second voice registered, she blinked a few times, rubbing her eyes naturally, in an almost human-like manner. While many androids and gynoids had been built and programmed to resemble humans, something about this one did seem a bit... Uncanny. Crevi's practiced and programmed motions to mimic human body language and activities had nothing on the way this artificial lifeform moved.

She seemed, Surprised. Once the blinking and eye rubbing had ceased, her eyes widened, a deep cerulean in color, but she seemed to make no actions aside from that, except for maybe stiffening a bit in her seat as she suddenly found herself in the back of a vehicle with two strange individuals she had never seen before.
