"Oh bother..." Kin'Alla grumbles, spying something that might be useful on the body before following Meetra's advice and looking for a place to hide out.

Kin'Alla and Meetra find a pair of fingerless gloves while Grom find a double headed coin. As you make your way to the potion shop and the smithy as you pass the townspeople that saw the display they start to reach out and touch you as if to say thank you. As Meetra and Grom enter the the potions shop they hear a middle aged woman with her back turned say with a very Irish accent no freebies and no handouts this place isn't a charity, what can I do ya for. The shop itself is so small that Grom with his sword and shield barely has room to move and turn around having to move his greatsowrd to not break anything.
As Kin'Alla enters the blacksmiths forge she hears the clanging sound of hammers on metal. As the blacksmith looks up from his work she hears him say with a gruff voice, be with you in a moment. After he quenches the horse shoe he's working on she's shocked to see him step down off a stool to reveal him as a dwarf the heavily bearded dwarf approaches the counter his hair and beard are pulled back and braided together to keep them out of his work, he says hello there its a strange sight seeing a tiefling in these parts what can I do for you?

Before Metra breaks off to go to the blacksmith she tells Grom and Kin'Alla

"While you are shopping keep a low profile. We're still new to this town and dont know who is on our side yet, if anyone."

He then goes into the smithy shop and asks the dwarf I know this isn't usually made of metal but can I get a quarterstaff? I'll pay extra if you can make me a metal one."

Grom nods at Meetra words and continues on to the potion shop. Upon entering the shop Grom notices that it is tiny leaving him little room to maneuver. Grom ask the shop keeper "what have and how much"

Kin'Alla followed Grom to the potion shop, trying to squeeze her small frame in the gaps left by the massive Orc. She looked around to see if there was anything useful within her budget.

The woman in the potion shop says that she has some basic stuff 4 minor health potions and some other small things like grease and oil flasks. The health potions are gonna run you 3 gold, grease is gonna be 2 gold and oil is 1 gold and 5 silver.

The blacksmith tells meetra that unless you have a lot of strength a full metal quarter staff would be impractical it would be better if I were to put waited tips and a thin metal layer on the outside of a wooden shaft, your choice though. If you want the solid metal one its gonna run ya 15 gold and three days time, and the weighted plate will be 12 gold and 4 days.

"Okay sir, I'll just get a normal wooden one then. I plan on being here for a while so I'll eventually scrounge up the money for the full metal one and return when I actually have the cash in hand. I believe the rate for a normal quarterstaff is 5 silver? I'll just give you a gold and we can call it even is that fine?"

The Smith replies to Meetra and says that's fine, then given the extra money he get her a staff that he has worked on for a few weeks, as she notices the hard wood staff has a few scortch marks on it he tell you this one is fire hardend and won't darn he hands it to her and it is a little heavier than expected.

The old woman looks at Grom and says thanks for you patronage, hope to see you again.
