The rage filling Camilla as Niall ran off to recover the magical device she had just cleared to a safe distance was immeasurable. She couldn't deny that there was a good chance he was correct, but he'd also undermined the entire team's safety. She didn't notice the men of her squad taking slow steps away from her. She only had eyes for the punk who'd told her how to do her job and was busy carrying a loaded weapon with no instructions and no trigger safety.
She stormed down the alley as he was wrapping up his little pow wow and got an idea. Body armor flopped onto his shoulders with a padded thump. "Just for that, you can take point on your merry rescue mission. I don't know who you think you are, little man, but you can expect a full shit storm when our duty is done. You are reckless and disrespectful and I should probably cart you off to the medics with your buddy... But we're short on bodies and they've got an armory. So let's go." The Sergeant pulled Niall back in the direction of her team.
"Alright. Word is these assholes have the armory on base. Should go without saying, but no explosives once we're inside. Cleared hot on anyone that looks at you funny. Remember: they're PG. They likely know the call and response and could be in uniform, especially if they've seized parts of the base. We'll have to tread very carefully."
Finally, she turned to the police officer. "Good luck. You've got the prisoners and the wounded." She gestured to Cormac.
