"I've got the resin, and the silver," answered Percival, snatching up the vial, finally getting down to his towel. "I just need the fire when we draw it out. Once I mix the cinnabar in with the silver and draw the sigil, we need to light up one end. That will activate the chained magicks and generate the smoke. When it starts smoking, that's when we'll have the best opportunities to do our work."

He tightened that towel, "Just make sure the fire is as subtle as possible, otherwise, someone might pick up on what we're doing. The bathroom will be next."

"Yes, let's," Raiko agreed with her 'co-host', opening the back door to the room, which gave them direct access to a covered walkway which led to the hot springs. "It's just down this path. Gather up your towels and if you'd like, swimwear, and let's make our way. I certainly don't want to keep the hot water waiting any longer than I have to," she added, grinning.

"Ah, yeah, That's the reason why we came here, anyway, instead of arguing," Miyuki surmised, gathering her things quickly and heading out. "It's been years since I've been to a proper hot springs, this will definitely go a long way to making me feel better."

"Baths... baths... wait.... baths as in... getting naked.....???" Sakura blinked with a sense of nervousness as she looked between Coco and Laoise, for some reason, the mere idea of getting naked in a bath terrified her and she didn't want to do it at all.

Duncan scratched his chin in thought. This dispell that they were working on was horribly complex, easy to spot and disrupt, and would possibly expose them all as perverts. The only other person they really needed to worry about, was anyone uninvolved stumbling in on it, or Miller himself. The former was easy, but the latter was not.

"Hey, we could just hide it in plain sight," the American boy suggested. "Just make it like, some part of Japanese shrine or shit - they got those all over here in Japan after all, right?" This had its problems too of course, but he saw through that already. "Even if there isn't one around here for us to mess with that's close enough for what we got to do, we can just make one of our own or something - we have magic," he added. But of course, that wasn't all of their problems. That last one, that needed more finesse if Miller spotted it. "The only others that'll be going through the area are men if we actually hide it in some discreet area of the changing rooms - for Miller, we could just have him implicated as part of all this. That'd keep him from doing anything." Duncan's smile wasn't the most pleasant one around.

Coco's expression was utterly flabbergasted.

"Well duh! This is Japan! With like, giant mecha. And idols. And Mahou Shojou. And uh, Onsen! Lots and lots of Onsen and ramen and stuffs!" the little girl quickly thought on her toes - she actually wasn't entirely sure what Japan was famous for. Only what was different than what was back home. Thanks to that, she wasn't even sure what she should have looked forward to herself. But it was all awesome anyways! "Besides, I bet we couldn't see anything in there if we're naked anyways," Coco added.

"In the anime and stuff, there's always so much steam and sunbeams and stuff getting in the way anyways."

"This ritual makes a translucent gas that dispels magic, but it's also of the potential to smoke out the ethereal. Japanese shrines are dedicated to local gods or the spirits of the dead, both of which would be unhappy with being forced to appear or move. I would rather deal with Miller than an enraged god or a family of vengeful spirits," admitted Percival, carefully holding his ingredients as he traveled about in just a towel. Without another arm, he was woefully over-burdened, but one had to drag their weight even in a situation where they had one less limb.

"The girls will pick up on anything more overt than this, and when they do it, it's all over," growled the Caxton, casting back a challenging stare to Duncan. "I'm running short on limbs, and I'd prefer to keep the rest."

"No worries Percy," Ruarc said in a confident tone. With a steady stride the Irishman made his way over to the sliding doors that lead outside, and there he held his arms behind his back as he stared out at the mountain vista. Without turning back to his cohohorts he spoke in a manner that would seem to go hand in hand with darker machinations. "Ah've full confidence in your crafting, but should this plan go South..." he paused for dramatic effect, and turned his head to look over his shoulder which made his glasses reflect the setting sun rather menacingly. "...Ah will have counter-measures of my own set up."
"My friends, the only thing we need to worry about is an unrealistic sensor bar, or inconveniently think steam that only hovers around certain places," Ruarc practically sang as he turned and walked back to the table turned lab station. "Gentlemen, before we know it we'll be glimpsing at heaven, and then afterward we dip in and out of the spring ourselves, head out, greet the girls, and have dinner with the ladies non the wiser."

"Sakura, you are worrying to much. Just try it and I am certain that you will find it very relaxing," Laoise placated. "Your skin will become smoother, your hair silkier, and all your stress will melt away."
To help her attempt to calm the girl she leaned in and put a gentle hand on Sakura's shoulder. "I can even help you wash if you'd like."

Feeling psyched up and bristling with adrenaline Ruarc made a fist and punched his palm to show his determination; though he then made a pained looked that would suggest he hit his hand a little too hard. Steeling his face from the pain in his hand and the thought that maybe this was not a good idea, the druid turned on his heel to address the troops. "We've got this mates. So long as we keep our heads, we can beat any odds," he said as he held his arms behind his back and angling his head in such a way that his glasses appear opaque white. "Now, let’s go prove that all that is needed for this cliche to work is a bit of wit, a bit of guts, and a bit of magic.”

“Alright, ladies, if I may, this entire situation is, like, fifty percent Duncan’s fault, forty-five percent Percy’s, and one percent mine,” Ruarc said as he sat on his knees in front of the tribunal of girls. The plan, as it turned out, discovered early enough to where the men saw nothing, but they were still incriminated enough to securely be in the dog house. Ruarc and Percy, who made a large contribution to the project, were was pinned as the ringleaders, and were being grilled by Raiko and the other girls; and Duncan, who was an accomplice, had been taken from the resort by his younger sister, the pair escorted by Mr. Miller, to have his sins confessed to their elder sister and would not be seen again for quite some time.

“That’s only ninety-six percent, wise guy,” Laoise said in a flat tone.
“I know. The other four percent is your fault,” Ruarc chimed, remaining obstinate.
“My fault!?” Laoise asked, surprised by the accusation.
“Yeah, you are the one who put the idea in my head, readin’ those mane-gahs you borrowed.”

At that Laoise simply huffed and stomped off somewhere. Ruarc watched her leave, or at least he assumed she was leaving as his glasses had been confiscated early on, before speaking up again.
“Alright, now that she’s gone, I would like to actually apologize. I am sorry that I tried to spy on you ladies, and I am sorry I got the other guys in on it,” he apologized while bowing his head, before adding in a bit under his breath. “Even though all I did was give the pep talk.
