Quite surprised at the ribbon-wrapped predicament she found herself in, the oh-so-pink magical girl faced off with Ruarc. "Sorry," she said with a wink, her body pressed up close to his. "I only have this."

A streaking flash of silver struck between them and the ribbons fell away, the Rose Flueret now stuck blade-first in the ground. "Thanks," HeartPure shouted towards her helpful companion. "Sure are a lot of people here," she noted to the druid. "You guys deal with this sort of thing a lot in this school?"

The Druid quickly stood back up and straightened his uniform as he recovered from the minor embarrassment and shock of the situation. Once he pressed out the wrinkles he did what he could to act like nothing odd had happened.

“At least she seems understanding, unlike Miyuki and her friend,” Ruarc thought to himself as he was reassured by the pink girl’s friendly tone. “As a matter of fact we ‘ave been a li’l busy with similar situations recently,” he replied back to the magical girl’s inquiry . “Although, there’re a lot more people at tha party than usual.”

"Well, it seems like you guys have a pretty good handle on this--," she starts to say, looking around at the throng as she steps over to pull her blade from the ground in one hand. As her fingers wrap around the handle, the blade begins to dissolve into bright pink rose petals, until it finally fades off into the air, the petals caught on the breeze.

HeartPure smiles at Ruarc "I'm HeartPure, Warrior of Justice. What's your name?" she asks, her big magenta eyes looking up at the Irish lad.

“Uh, ma name is Ruarc Flynn. I am a Druid Keeper from Ireland,” the Irish lad responded to the Japanese lass. He began to smile a little as he was refreshed by the girl’s cordial attitude. After he introduced himself he looked around to see what exactly the situation had evolved into, but the circumstances were rather odd and would require further investigation.

“Ah suppose Ah should go see exactly why the thing we were jus’ fighting has turned into a little girl with a novelty backpack,” Ruarc went on to say as he turned to get a good view of
the banter going on back and forth between Duncan’s sister and Riley.

"Pleased to meet you, Flynn" she responded with a nod, then turned with him to assess the situation, crossing her arms and watching the situation to see if it warranted further action from her. A bell-like tinkling sound came from the blue ball of light as it approached HeartPure, bobbing in the air before hovering near her shoulder.

Miyuki sat in her puddle, completely lost as to what was going on- This little girl whom had been attacking them was related to Duncan, and apparently everything was A-OK. Then suddenly, Another one of the new girls suddenly let out an attack, as if she were gone berserk, sending Riley into the air, then, the littlest girl there suddenly summoned more ribbons, making giant arms - Miyuki was faintly reminded of an old American cartoon she had seen once- She didn't seem to know what to do. "I- wha? wait!" Miyuki suddenly blurted, remembering she was covered in water. Summoning her own magical abilities, she pre-empted the ribbon-girl by launching the water that was on her and flinging it at Sakura, trying to freeze her hands and feet to the ground so she could no longer move or act.

After being trapped by the ribbons, Haruka's ghostly clone immediately began making a fuss, kicking and general scolding of the more solid of the pair. Upon seeing that it was a little girl that had bested them, the twins stared incredulously, but only for a moment before the transparent one's complaints resumed and intensified.

Release from the ribbon trap didn't come quick enough for either of them. Haruka stood up, her ear ringing from the doppelganger's yelling right next to her head. She brushed herself off and gathered her gunlance. The other half of the pair just sat up and continued yelling, quite intent on venting.

"It's all your fault we lost to, lost to... that!" There were some gestures at Coco. "How could you let that happen and-" she just continued on and on. The phantasmal girl was so focused on making sure Haruka knew it was her fault, and that it was definitely not the former's fault, that she rather missed Sakura's... problems.

"Yes, I get it!" Haruka snapped at her other half whom instantly quieted down. "Now if you don't mind, we have an issue here!" She pointed.

"Oh. ...Still your fault" The doppelganger jumped up and the pair merged together. Haruka readied her weapon to defend herself. It wasn't as if she could trust any of these strange people.

He wasn't exactly feeling very good at the moment.

It was a little hard to breathe, his eyes stung from all the smoke and flame that had billowed about from the mini-god, and he had taken an arrow to the butt. What's more, thunder boomed as lighting had lashed out to strike the boy, making him flail about like a stupid fish as his muscles started to spasm in response. While Duncan continued to lay on the ground, moaning, he had to admit that this really wasn't his day. He'd get due justice for this through sweet, sweet revenge. Especially for the static filled, curly hair they gave him with that last electric attack of course! But first, Duncan needed to rest. Hence, the continued moaning.

Meanwhile, ice magic immobilized the frightened and panicking Sakura - the lightning assault she lashed out with conducted along the frozen water to jolt both her and Miyuki. Ice turned into water and then snapped into steam, flash drying both girls' hair and giving each a stylish, giant afro as the electricity made the two girls dance on their toes ever so briefly. When it was done and over with though, the two would merely stand there, dumbstruck and confused as to just what happened, clothing fresh and steamy.

And then a giant red fist smashed into Sakura's eye - Coco stood at her place with a triumphant smile as the fist was reeled in again.

It was about now however, that the little girl realized something. "Uhhh. Would you all like to go somewhere to rest? I can't see very well, but I think lot of you guys don't look too good."

Riley sniffled as quietly as possible and then grabbed a bit of Percy's shirt at his shoulder with both hands. Shoving her face into the crumpled cloth the young girl fought back – and hid – tears that were wholly unacceptable in such an open setting.

As her eyes dried and the panic subsided, Riley's muffled voice edged its way out of her hidden refuge, voicing a stumbled and stuttering “Thank you.” to her partner and rescuer.

The little stage magician's whole body shook for a few seconds, and then she pulled her face back up and took her first comprehensive look of Percy's own state of being. Riley's eyes wavered for a bit as she noticed how bloodied and battered her close friend had become. Reaching up with the corner of her cloak Riley's mantle soaked up the blood on the older boy's face – the stains both on Percy and the mantle's cloth itself quickly faded away.

Looking down again Riley wet her lips nervously before created an illusionary magic probe and sending it towards Percy. “I'm not sure if this will – well, work, or help – but, I'm trying to...” The magician's voice trailed off as she concentrated on soothing – she made sure to no make it go away completely as Percy would then just push himself further past his limits - the pain Percy was feeling from his numerous injuries.

Looking up again and this time being greeted with a clean and only vaguely bruised Percy, Riley's face lit up like the sun and she gave the summoner the most sterling smile he had ever gotten from her. Leaning Riley hugged Percy as tightly as she could from her awkward position.

“Thanks. I couldn't be better!” Riley replied earnestly. Then, snapping her fingers, Riley re-summoned the illusionary beret back onto her head and let her smile slip back into its normal, cheery grin. “About time I get my own feet back on the ground and test them out though, eh Watson? Besides – all that mechanical testing and naught aside – it sounds like we should be figuring out who is still our enemy and who is our friend – and from the way today has been developing that should prove a very interesting experience!”

Sakura groaned, unsure what had just happened, or why she was suddenly on her back with her face in pain. She attempted to get up, and found herself slightly off balance as she got up onto one knee and shook her head. "Oughs..." she glanced off at the young girl and then at those below her on the ground. She tried to figure out what had just happened, but her mind was a complete blank, only thing she recalled was fighting a large monster with ribbons. It was then that she looked up and around, looking for that monster. "W-where's that thing with the ribbons that was just here...?" she muttered, her voice sounding pained.

Percy eased an aching breath off his lips as he smiled weakly at the little magician, returning her hugs in kind. Though, his were less affectionate, and more of alike a parent gripping a child they almost lost. When he leaned back, and she had gotten to her feet, he tried to do the same. There was a little stumbling, but he thankfully found his way to his feet thanks to the support of Unity, and the near-by Akanus. He took a few deep breaths before looking down at his little cohort.

"You're right, Riley, we should." Percival tapped his staff on the ground, the grass around blown over by the small wave force. He whispered a little bit, and Akanus was sucked back into the Elementalia, to be replaced by Modeka. As the miniature-god's feet touched the earth, fresh shoots of grass and flowers sprouted slowly from behind her. She looked about, before eying Percy and healing him with her touch. "Starting with Duncan's little sister."

“Well, that di’n’ take long,” Ruarc remarked as he surveyed the aftermath of the most recent conflict. In the brief time the boy had been distracted another battle erupted and subsequently put down before he could properly react to it. Clasping his hands behind his head bit his lower lip in a moment of disappointment that he hadn’t taken part in helping out his team.

“As Ah mentioned, it has been a li’l busy around ‘ere,” Ruarc said to HeartPure without looking directly at her, as he was in the process of checking for potential damages the recent fights might have left behind; both to the combatants as well as the school building that served as the battleground.

From the girl’s direction Ruarc heard the sound of a bell caught his ear. Turning his head he saw HeartPure and a floating, blue ball. Once he saw the floating orb his right eye went to work on examining the magical signature. ”It seems similar to Miyuki’s familiar,” the druid thought as he considered the orb for a moment.

“That yer familiar?” Ruarc asked HeartPure as he tested a possible explanation for the blue ball.

Miyuki didn't stand for long. Confused, annoyed, and both physically and mentally frazzled, she did the most pertinent thing she could do. She sat down, put her face in her hands, and just shook her head from side to side muttering incomprehensibly about 'the good old days' before she had been involved in any of this stuff. flopping over to one side, Miyuki lamely dragged herself over to the edge of the building, and then flopped off of it. The gesture seemed suicidal at first, but then a large globule of water formed out of thin air and made a cushion for the Japanese girl, soaking her once again, but, at this point, she could care less. at least her hair was pointing the correct direction again.

For the moment, Miyuki chose to simply lay in her own puddle on the ground, staring blankly at the wall, as Saph sat next to her, looking embarrassed.

Miyuki! Percy's heart popped up into his throat as he saw her falling off the side of the south-building. His stern demeanor broke instantly as he tore away from the others, his drained, but recently healed body trying to do something. He wasn't completely healed, though, he could feel his bruised insides jostling against each other, and his hurried, rushing pace did nothing to help him. The boy didn't care, though, he didn't want whatever was about to happen, to persist. If she had just fallen, or threw herself, he didn't want it to end so suddenly between them.

Then came the water globule that formed, and caught the young woman.

Percy stopped almost inches from it, his breath beating hard in his mouth. "M-... Miyuki." said the Summoner weakly, as his brain came off a wounded high, "A-are you okay?"

Seeing everything appeared fine, Modeka moved towards Duncan, trotting energetically across the lawn to assist him. She tapped him once, and looked up at him for a little bit of affirmation.
