The Drake was designed to give the Drathonians the capability of carrying a large amount of fighters and Anti-ship weapons onto a bttlefield, as well as to create an inexpensive command cruiser with commendable electronics capabilities.
===== 2. History and Background =====
The Drake is fairly old, from just after the Rimworld Rebellions. It was built using many OUTO technologies, and considered one of the better ships of the fleet. It's performance was high enough that it has continued to serve with the Drathonian Navy, simply with refits and newer versions. the current version is 22C, it is the third refit of the 22nd variant.

The bridge is a large room full of computers and crairs, all made for drathonians, but capable of being utilized by humans.

The captain's suite is a large circular room, just aft of the bridge. Often full of excercise gear.
=== Cargo Storage Areas ===
The middle ten levels are dedicated to cargo storage, and store all the supplies neccesary to run the ship for as long as fuel holds out, but no longer.

Large rooms lined with shallow pits in which the Drathonians can curl up and sleep.
=== Crew Recreation ===
the upper two levels contain recreation areas, mainly shooting ranges and open spaces for sperring.
=== Engineering ===
Several levels contain engineering rooms, which can also control many functions of the ship. they have access to vital ship systems, as well as storage for neccesary tools.
=== Maintenance Conduits ===
Fairly large, as neccessitated by the Drathonian Physiology, the Maintainence conduits snake their way through and between every level of the ship, providing access to many parts of the ship.
=== Medical Center and Laboratory ===
Some newer model Drake cruisers have a rudimentary medical bay, that is little more than a storage closet for surgical tools.
=== Passageways ===
The passageways are 10x 20 foot square tunnels placed through each floor in a gridwork that accesses all the rooms in the ship.
=== Hangar Bays ===
Very large, these hangar bays are 6 levels tall and run to the center of the ship, there is one on each side, and they are seperated by a large wall that has several walkways above it, as well as numerous ladders and stairs, to be used to access fighters and shuttles stored on Hangers without needing to get them down. The fighter hangers fold into the ceiling for storage.

The hull is generally made up of thick layers of Depleted uranium, mixed with alternating layers of steel, lead, and titanium.
==== Computers and Electronics ====
The Drake has a large solid state computer system, made up of a network of CPU's placed throughout the ship, one in each engineering section, each armory, and the main core in the bridge. these cores are networked and provide relatively good processing.
==== Emergency Systems ====
Rudimentary sprinkler systems are on every deck to suppress fires. Each deck can be isolated from one another in the case of a hull breach.
==== Life Support Systems ====
There are air scrubbers in all the vents which purify the air for six months then must be replaced.
==== Propulsion ====
The Drake is propelled by a mix of Ion engines and 'Fusion Drive' engines, giving it a decent top speed for it's size class.

It also has a Warp drive, though this is somewhat small for such a large ship, and therefore isn't very fast.

The Drake carries a shield system similar to a Plutanovicz system, but differs in that it puts more stake into stopping Projectiles than energy weapons. the Shield generator is buried within the center of the ship, and produces shields via an array of projectors on the hull.

The main weapons on a Drake are three pairs of 10' bore cannon, one on each side and one on the dorsal surface. these cannons fire several types of shells including Armor piercing, High explosive, and Nuclear rounds.

The Raptor class was designed as a mid-sized fast attack craft, made to be deadly both alone and in a group. It is well defended, fast, and carries quite a bit of punch, but is only the equal of its Terran counterpart, if that.
===== 2. History and Background =====
At the time of its design, the Raptor outclassed Terran vessels of its size easily, and was quite an impressive vessel. With the rate at which Terran technology changes, however, it was soon left in the dust by refits of older Terran vessels, and became practically useless compared to newer ships. Utilizing Terran technology (at the time Terrans were still allied with the Drathonians), the raptor class was brought up to par, but, once the Great betrayal occurred, Terran enhancements ceased altogether for the class. Now trailing behind in technology, it remains useful by merit of its brute force.

The main weapons of the raptor are a pair of Particle accelerator cannons mounted on either side of the ship. These weapons provide damage in several ways, first, by creating a large amount of heat energy that can deplete shielding as well as do major damage to armor, and then by the physical kinetic impact of the charged, hyper accelerated particles.

Raptor class ships often sport a wide, varying array of smaller defensive guns, between 25 and 50 per ship.

The Raptor class can either hold within its single hangar bay 4 shuttles, or 5 scourge fighters.

====== 'Firebrand' General Purpose Corvette ======

===== 1. About the Ship =====
The ship has railguns. It has turrets. It has point defense weapons. It can basically do almost anything, except for launching missiles or chasing after fighters due to it's less than desirable speed. It is tough, easy to maintain, and surprisingly effective for it's low technological level.

===== 2. History and Background =====
The Drathonians needed a ship that could shoot at almost anything with reasonable effectiveness while remaining cheap. This was the winner after several duels and prototype trials consisting of more duels against fighters, against a destroyer's shields to see who could wear them down faster, and finally each other. It is a recently written design undergoing mass production.

There are three decks in total, cramped even by Terran Standards. Prone to throwing sparks and small, pointless explosions when under attack. Spaces in the sides of the walkways allow individuals to step out of the path of those who have right of way.

==== Compartment Layouts ====

The primary ammunition hold is located near the center of the ship, below the bridge. Smaller ammunition holds are located throughout the ship for each of it's weapons. Sleeping quarters are located between the primary ammunition hold and engineering.

The ship's numerous 'ready ammunition' holds for the guns also double as small armories.

=== Bridge ===
The bridge is small and cramped by Drathonian standards. Prone to producing pointless sparks and minor concussive blasts when the ship is under attack.

Nice and spacious, often filled with basic amenities and exercise equipment

=== Cargo Storage Areas ===
Food and misc items are kept inside the primary hold of the ship along with the ammunition.

=== Crew Quarters/Mess Hall/Recreation Area ===
Crew quarters are simple, and double as the mess hall and recreation areas. If or when the main hold is empty or partially empty, the Captain may allow some recreation to be done. A reasonable captain will either cover up the ammunition to protect it from premature detonation, or simply disallow recreation altogether.

All primary systems centralized and made easier to reach for the engineers. A jungle of metallic air and wires.

=== Maintenance Conduits ===
Numerous, and running throughout the ship for the smallest variety of Drathonians to go through.

The medical centers only exist aboard the ship out of sheer necessity; they are equipped with rudimentary medical supplies designed to merely keep a person alive until something more useful or effective comes along. There is one to each side of the engines, and if engineering is the target, one is often shot off or destroyed in a battle, assuming that the ship survives.

Rudimentary armor plating and basic sensors to detect damage. Cheap and easy to repair and replace

Primarily, analog computers are used in the ship, further cutting costs. However, some more advanced systems are present. All are prone to sparking and blowing up pointlessly. Surprisingly easy to repair, explosion or not.

==== Emergency Systems ====
Halon Gas fire suppression systems and compartmentalized design. Sections of the ship will close off and evacuate atmosphere if the extinguishers do not work.

==== Life Support Systems ====
Catalytic air filters break carbon dioxide down and back into oxygen for the crew to breathe. Oxygen masks of slightly less than reliable design are present throughout the ship which is kept warm by the engine.

Underpowered by Terran standards, as the propulsion systems have a low top speed, though the acceleration is appreciable.

83mm Railguns (2): The primary guns fire Armor Piercing Depleted Uranium rounds at one round every two seconds or alternate and fire a shot every one second.

59 mm Multipurpose Turrets (3): Solid Depleted Uranium shell firing cannons. 4 rounds a second with four cannons per turret.

38.2 mm Point Defense Turrets (15): Hard hitting and capable of spitting out 23 rounds per second, they are effective in shooting down most threatening fighter craft and bombers. Solid depleted uranium slugs.
