Primary Ability:

• Sporadic feats of superhuman strength, reflexes, endurance and insight augmented by divine favour. More powerful manifestations lead to 'divine light', which harms evil beings such as Demons or Undead. This was attributed to being the recipient of a Fragment of the Archangel Michael by his great grandfather, Sir Arthur Kendrick Miller.

How powers were granted: Purity of body and soul as described by the Seven Heavenly Virtues. However, his powers can be temporarily revoked if he ignores the Seven Heavenly Virtues, or can be revoked for longer if he knowingly makes transgressions. Fortunately, his upbringing has lead to a straight-edge lifestyle that compliments this. It was revealed that Jonathan is a Host for a fragment of the Archangel Michael, who grants him these abilities. Now that he has been made aware of this symbiotic relationship, Jonathan and Michael have a sworn mission to uphold Justice and right Magical wrongs in the world.

• Light Slice - Jonathan can swing his arm laterally, and manifest a 'blade' of light. LOCKED
• Light Cascade - A more powerful version of Light Ripple, which extends for ten/fifteen feet in all directions. LOCKED
• Light Projectile - Jonathan launches a projectile of Divine Light from his fingertips. LOCKED
• Light Explosion - A very powerful version of Light Ripple, which extends for thirty feet in all directions, and wears out Jonathan severely. LOCKED

Jonathan's Boons of Justice are able to be meshed with other abilities. He currently knows one Joint Boon, and will to discover them as time goes on.

• The Paladin's Forest (With Modeka) - Oak Trees grow all around Modeka and Miller, shedding leaves of light. Each leaf heals, restores Mana and Stamina to all characters in the Forest as well as raising one's spirits, at the cost of tiring out Miller severely.

If Jonathan ignores these virtues, certain penalties start to accrue, and usually last for the rest of the day, or until Jonathan rights his wrongs. If he does this knowingly, it can last for up to three days, and he will be overwhelmed with guilt.

If Jonathan commits a heinous act knowingly that can be considered completely amoral, he will lose all of his useful abilities for a week, and repeated offences may lead to getting smote with lightning or otherwise divinely punished, including his serendipity and coincidences being used against him terribly.

Appearance: Jonathan Miller's sharp mind is belied by his a five o'clock shadow and close-cropped, scruffy sandy-blonde hair. He has brown eyes hidden by his glasses. His accent is not overtly Scottish and he sounds plainly English instead.
Magical Item: Jonathan's Bastard Sword - A four-foot long cutting and thrusting blade, meant to be wielded with one or two hands interchangeably. Weighing in at fourteen pounds of cold Steel with a grip made of chestnut and a crossguard of Steel. The blade is currently blunt, and yet to receive a proper name.
Magical Outfit: Mr. Miller's Sweatervest - During his classes, Mr. Miller is always seen wearing a sweatervest knitted by his mum back home. He usually wears it over his tidy shirt and quiet tie and jokingly refers to it as 'body armour'. In the Elementalia Magicus, the sweatervest re-manifests itself as a shining silver and gold-trimmed breast plate.

• Mr. Miller's Laptop - Its where he keeps his notes on English lessons.
• Mr. Miller's Books - The faculty allowed him to reserve a bookshelf on-campus. He keeps reference material, novels that he teaches, novels that he doesn't teach and instruction manuals in it. Notably, there's a well-thumbed copy of the King James copy of the Bible taking up centre space.
